Some of you reading this may be thinking that this is ridiculous and that being happy is way way harder than I’m making it out to be. If so you may want to rethink your definition of happiness.

It helped in the solution of the Korean and Congo disputes. It can also claim credit for the nuclear test ban treaty in 1960\‘s which helped in bringing about the strategic arms limitation agreements between the super-powers.

Until you deal with a death of someone you care about it’s often easy to think life will keep going on and on. Even then as life goes back to normal we can tend to forget how short it really is. I wish I had spent more time with my dad. For some reason I thought he’d always be around. 10 years can sure go by fast.

This is not a correct assessment. Rather the relevance and utility of non-alignment has increased. Firstly the growth of new centers of power instead of decreasing has increased the threat to political and economic independence of the non-aligned countries almost all of which are still developing countries.

With the short amount of time you have on this planet and the vast amount of things you could be spending your time improving on it only makes sense that you will end up being average or bad at a lot of things and that’s okay.

While at the gym yesterday I heard the DJ on the radio saying “Are you tired of the gym being crowded all of the sudden? Don’t worry by the end of the month it’ll be back to normal.”

As I’ve stated many times on this site whenever you come across something that inspires and motivates you to do something immediately take action. Don’t just think about it do it. The longer you wait the more excuses your mind will come up with to not do anything.

The intensity of the quake was so much and the havoc it created was so immense that it may never be forgotten. It will surely be entered as a black day in the history of earthquakes not only in India but of the world.

One technique I found to be useful is to attach the action to something you already do everyday in order to form a sequence of actions. By attaching the actions that you want to form into a habit to an existing habit when the existing habit is triggered a process will be activated eventually leading you to perform the action that you want to make into a habit.

As for those of you who have already quit who says you need to continue with your decision to quit? If you’ve gotten off track all you have to do is get back on track. How? Just decide to. When you wake up each day you get to make another decision of whether or not to work on your goals. Just because you decided to not work on your goals for the past 3 or 5 months it doesn’t mean you can’t make a different decision today.
